WATSONVILLE — A 29-year-old Morgan Hill man died of his injuries after crashing a motorcycle exiting Highway 1 in Watsonville. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was operating a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle, headed southbound toward Highway 129, when the crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. Friday. The Santa Cruz County Coroner's Office has identified the driver as John Mollett. Investigators believe the man veered off the roadway and traveled down an embankment, where he crashed into a tree.
