WATSONVILLE — A 30-year-old San Jose motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon when her bike went down on an agricultural road outside Watsonville and slid into the path of an oncoming semi-truck. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was traveling southbound on Carlton Road near Thompson Road around 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The woman appeared to have lost control of her 2023 Honda CBR600RR, which is advertised by the maker as a sport/racing bike, as she approached a curve in the road, according to CHP.
