WATSONVILLE — An 18-year-old Watsonville man was killed early Sunday morning after he drove off a road outside Watsonville and crashed into a metal guardrail, authorities say. On Monday, the California Highway Patrol continued investigating the cause of the solo-vehicle crash, which occurred around 2 a.m. the day before on Airport Boulevard, east of Pajaro Lane. The man reportedly was driving a 2004 Lexus sedan westbound on Airport Boulevard when he veered off the roadway and into a metal bridge guardrail.
